Chatstasy Messaging Service
The Chatstasy Software is meant to be a SMS replacement, using data service through a user’s phone (either via cell network or Wi-Fi). Chatstasy uses a third-party messaging service platform provided by Firebase Chat Messaging (FCM) service. The content of the message is never copied or archived on Chatstasy servers. User messages are directly sent to intended recipient (who must also be a Chatstasy user) via FCM if they are online. If the recipient is not online, the undelivered message is held by FCM servers until it can be delivered. If the message is undelivered for 4 weeks, the undelivered message is deleted from FCM servers. The contents of any delivered messages are kept or retained by FCM server in accordance with their general retention policies.
